摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a method and a system for monitoring an operation of a multi-bridge exciter system for a turbine generator, which facilitate safety operations of facilities by monitoring operations of multi-bridge exciters and preventing the generator from stopping. The system for monitoring an operation of a multi-bridge exciter system for a turbine generator comprises: multiple exciters which operate with a self-fault testing function according to operational modes and supplies a controlled DC current to the field of the generator; a bridge means to connect outputs of the multiple exciters in a bridged manner; a console to manipulate the operations of the exciters; a shunt to detect an output current of each of the exciters; and an exciter operation monitoring unit which receives the operational modes and self-fault test signals from the multiple exciters and displays an operation status of the exciter system. According to the present invention, the system for monitoring the operation of the multi-bridge exciter system monitors the operation status of each of the exciters in the multi-bridge exciter system, in which the multiple exciters are connected in the bridged manner to prevent a trip of the generator, and notifies the operation status to an operator, thereby allowing the operator to take a quick action and to prevent the generator from stopping in advance when a system failure occurs.</p>
