Provided is a separator for a secondary battery. The separator for a secondary battery includes a base layer and a coating layer coated on the base layer. The coating layer includes a block copolymer of an ion conductive polymer and an electron conductive polymer. Thereby, provided are a separator for a secondary battery which has high affinity with an electrolyte, high stability, and high reliability, and a secondary battery using the same.
