<p>According to an embodiment of the present invention, an LNG supply system comprises: a fuel supply line connected to an engine from an LNG storage tank; a boosting pump arranged in the fuel supply line and compresses LNG discharged from the LNG storage tank; a foam removing valve arranged in the inlet of the boosting pump and discharges foam; a temperature sensor which detects the temperature of the outlet of the boosting pump; and a high-pressure pump which compresses the LNG discharged from the boosting pump with high pressure. When the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is above a predetermined temperature or when temperature changes within a predetermined range for a predetermined time period, the foam removing valve determines that the LNG passing through the boosting pump does not flow and the valve is opened. The LNG supply system in accordance to the present invention removes foam in order to prevent BOG foam from blocking the inlet of the boosting pump while the LNG discharged from the LNG storage tank is flowing in the boosting pump such that a prime operation, which is a prior operation, or a cool-down operation cannot be affected. Accordingly, the LNG supply system can smoothly be operated.</p> |
