1. A shielding apparatus configured to shield at least one at least partially metallic implant in a body of a patient during an examination by magnetic resonance imaging, comprising:
a shield configured to be externally attached temporarily during an examination by magnetic resonance imaging between an external surface of the body of the patient and a patient cylinder in a magnetic resonance imaging scanner; and, wherein said shield comprises a shielding material, which is configured to attenuate radio frequency alternating electromagnetic fields, and further comprises a communication device configured to communicate with the at least one at least partially metallic implant. |
