The present invention relates to a composition for maintaining fresh plants including silver nanoparticles and to a preparation method thereof and, more specifically, to a composition for keeping roses fresh including silver nanoparticles to which an enhancer agent for stability and a foaming agent are added and a method for preparing a tablet type composition. The rose processed with the composition in the present invention is confirmed to surprisingly maintain its freshness for a long time and, accordingly, a customized composition is expected to be developed according to the type of plants.
