摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a coolant additive for an internal combustion engine and a method of preparing the same, and more particularly, to a coolant additive for an internal combustion engine removing rust water included in a coolant by using a far infrared ray and an anion to improve engine performance. and to a method of preparing the same. According to the present invention, a method of preparing a coolant additive for an internal combustion engine is characterized by including in sequence: a primary pulverizing process of pulverizing 50% by weight of tourmaline, 10% by weight of biotite, 10% by weight of muscovite, 10% by weight of feldspar, 10% by weight of zeolite, and 10% by weight of germanium generating weak current of an anion and a far infrared ray into a predetermined size; a paste-forming step of mixing an inorganic powder formed in the primary pulverizing process and water at a ratio of 1:1 to form a paste; a molding step of molding the dough into a spherical shape having a constant diameter; a drying step of drying and ripening the mixture molded into the spherical shape at a temperature of 20-25°C for 120-130 hours during 5 days; a firing step of heating the spherical mixture at a temperature of 800°C for 8 hours after the drying step is completed; a cooling process of cooling the fired mixture for 12-24 hours; and a secondary pulverizing process of pulverizing the fired mixture which is cooled.</p>
