<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for preventing flooding of an underwater pump which includes a pumping unit (10) having an impeller (15); a motor unit (20) coupled toward an upper portion of the pumping unit (10) by interposeing an oil chamber (22) to drive the impeller (15); and a flodding detector installed at the oil chamber (22) of the motor unit (20) and generating a signal by detecting water ingress. Accordingly, a condition wherein moisture is permeated toward the motor during the underwater pumping process is accurately detected to deal with unexpected accidents such as pumping force reduction and pump disorder.</p> |
