The present invention relates to a surgery information management apparatus based on an electronic medical record (EMR) system and a management method thereof, capable of applying a search condition set for each individual when a surgery schedule of a hospital is searched from an EMR system, and providing a surgery schedule such that it is recognized by intuition to thus facilitate an operation of inputting a new surgery schedule or changing an existing registered surgery schedule. The surgery information management apparatus based on an EMR system according to the present invention comprises a surgery information unit storing and managing surgery schedule information of a hospital, an information management control unit controlling an operation of searching for surgery schedule information stored in the surgery information unit and providing the same, a search condition input unit inputting a search condition when searching for the surgery schedule information is searched, a surgery schedule checking unit checking surgery schedule information according to the search condition input by the search condition input unit, and a surgery schedule display unit displaying the surgery schedule information checked by the surgery schedule checking unit.
