The present invention relates to a composition for surface treatment forming a self-assembled monolayer easily coated and removed. The composition for surface treatment of the present invention is easily coated on a surface by containing a compound bonded to an ortho-position of a benzene ring by hydroxyl groups in diol-form and is able to be reused by reforming a polluted self-assembled monolayer since the self-assembled monolayer is easily removed from the surface by Al^3+ or Fe^3+ treatment. Accordingly, the present invention is able to be usefully applied to industrial fields and research on a self-assembled monolayer applied by resistance reduction on abrasion due to advantages of the composition, chemically functional group induction for sensing biomolecules, surface hydrophilic properties, antifouling properties of a surface and the like.
