A method for processing the information of a portable terminal comprises a step for displaying a preview image displayed in a camera when a camera application is executed; a step for displaying communication applications which correspond to the recognition information of the image selected in the display preview image; a step for executing the communication application selected among the displayed communication applications; and a step for transmitting content/file by using the communication application.
