<p>The present invention relates to a universal chuck for fixating a workpiece, which comprises: multiple jaws (20) where an engaging unit (26) is formed on the front side of a vertical flat plate and where multiple gears (24) are formed on the bottom surface in a horizontal direction at regular intervals; a circular fixating body (30) where multiple insertion fixtures (32) are formed on the top surface at regular intervals so that the vertically standing multiple jaws (20) can be radially inserted toward a penetration hole (31) at the center thereof in order to horizontally move in a concentric circular direction, and where a seating unit with a fixed depth is formed on the back surface; a circular rotary body (40) where a penetration hole (41) larger than the penetration hole (31) of the circular fixating body (30) is formed at the center thereof, where a scroll (42) with a spiral groove protrudes from the top surface around the penetration hole (41) so that the circular fixating body (30) can be seated on the top surface, and where a mounting groove (45) with a fixed depth is formed on the back surface where the penetration hole (41) is formed; and an adapter (50) whose outer circumference is partly inserted into the mounting groove (45) formed on the back surface of the circular rotary body (40) and is combined with the circular fixating body (30) seated on the top surface of the circular rotary body (40) through a fastening bolt, in order to be fixated to a headstock or a rotary shaft of a machine tool or to the top surface of a horizontal worktable.</p> |
