<p>A method and apparatus for speed dialing in a mobile communication system are provided. In the method, a speed dial code is input and transmitted to a SIM card. A dialing number corresponding to the speed dial code is detected from the SIM card. The detected dialing number is transmitted to a User Equipment (UE) through a mechanism of Call Control by SIM.</p> |
