[Class 18] In a support for eggs &c., an object-supporting cradle 2 is suspended from two pairs of side walls 1, 1 ; 1, 1 extending flexibly from a base member 3, the respective pairs of side walls being flexibly connected at 5, 6 while their other ends 4, 7 are free for outward or inward movement, about the lines 5, 7, according to the disposition of the points of contact H or H<1>, of the supported article, with the cradle 2. The points H<1> indicate the contact points of a small egg &c. with the cradle causing inward movement of the points 4, while the points H indicate those for a large egg &c., causing outward movement of the points 4. Ventilation notches 10 are provided. The cradle portion 2 is preferably soft and yieldable while the side walls 1 are relatively hard and strong.
