Provided is a method for providing a distributed biometric recognition service, comprising the steps of receiving a biometric authentication confirmation request on the basis of biometric information of a user from any one of a plurality of biometric recognition terminals, transmitting the biometric information of the user to the biometric recognition terminals and searching for a user corresponding to the biometric information of the user by a biometric recognition service providing server and the biometric recognition terminals, receiving user search result transmitted from the biometric recognition terminals, as feedback information, authenticating the user on the basis of the received feedback information and the user search result from the biometric recognition service providing server, and transmitting the user authentication result to any one biometric recognition terminal. |
