<p>The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing steel for tunnel timbering having high strength and high toughness. The present invention provides a method for manufacturing steel for tunnel timbering designed to resist earthquakes having high strength and high toughness, which is manufactured by going through a process of quenching and self-tempering (QST), and comprises 0.15-0.23 wt% of C, 0.15-0.25 wt% of Si, 0.80-0.95 wt% of Mn, 0.030 or less wt% of P (excluding 0), 0.030 or less wt% of S (excluding 0), 0.25 or less wt% of Cu (excluding 0), 0.08 or less wt% of Ni (excluding 0), 0.13 or less wt% of Cr (excluding 0), 0.02 or less wt% of Mo (excluding 0), 0.010-0.035 wt% of V, 0.005-0.030 wt% of Al and the remainder consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities.</p> |
