The present invention relates to a method for performing security communication between digital devices using a security key after producing the security key for security communication between the digital devices. For this, the present invention includes: a processor for controlling the operation of the digital devices; a proximity sensor including a receiver for receiving light patterns and an ejector for outputting the light patterns; and a communication unit for transceiving the data based on the commands of the processor. The digital device outputs light patterns using the ejector of the proximity sensor, detects whether an object is close using the proximity sensor; extracts key producing information for security communication using the light patterns outputted by the ejector when the object is in the preset range; produces the security key using the key producing information, and performs security communication with an external device using the produced security key.
