<p>The present invention relates to a junction box (J) for connecting a cable of a surveillance camera, which is installed on a building or a street for surveillance purposes, to an exterior cable, arranging, and protecting the cable of the surveillance camera. More particularly, the present invention relates to a junction box for a surveillance camera, in which a mounting plate (30), which is formed of an insulation material and easily bolted, is provided on a front (outer surface) of a cover (20) coupled with a main body (10) to provide an interior space, so that the surveillance camera (C) is rapidly and easily mounted on the mounting plate (30) by being bolted. Moisture cannot penetrate into the main body through a bolting hole since the bolting hole, which is formed by bolting, is not formed in the cover. The insulation material of the mounting plate (30), on which the surveillance camera (C) is contact-mounted, prevents image quality from being degraded due to electromagnetic disturbance, or the disturbance of electromagnetic waves due to electrical conduction.</p> |
