<p>PURPOSE: A passage safety apparatus of a crosswalk is provided to safely protect a pedestrian in the crosswalk by operating a safety fence and a crossing gate with a signal of a traffic light which is synchronized according to a pedestrian traffic light. CONSTITUTION: A pedestrian traffic light (11) is installed in a crosswalk. A pedestrian traffic light sensor (100) is formed in a part of any one lamp between red and green lamps and senses any one signal among red and green colors. A crossing gate (110) is installed in the sidewalk of the crosswalk and blocks or passes a pedestrian who is willing to cross the street according to a signal which is sensed in the pedestrian traffic light sensor. A controller (120) controls the pedestrian traffic light sensor and the crossing gate.</p> |
