摘要 The present invention relates to traditional liquor using lotus and a method for manufacturing the same and more specifically, to traditional liquor which has unique flavor and scent and which is beneficial to the health functionality of human body using lotus (white lotus flowers, lotus roots, lotus seeds) and a method for manufacturing the traditional liquor. The method comprises: a seed mash preparing step for obtaining seed mash by boiling rice flour with water (preparing rice porridge) and then cooling down, and putting traditional nuruk in the rice porridge and mix well, and then putting into a sterilized pot and fermenting for 3 days; a first rice-wine mash preparing step for obtaining rice-wine mash by pouring boiling water over rice flour and mixing well to make half-boiled rice pudding, and cooling down and then mixing with the prepared seed mash, and then putting into a sterilized pot and fermenting for 3 days; a second rice-wine mash preparing step for obtaining second rice-wine mash by washing glutinous rice and soaking in water for 6 hours and then cooking hard-boiled rice, and cooling down and then mixing with the first rice-wine seed, white lotus flowers, lotus roots, and lotus seeds and fermenting at 25°C for 45 days, and then ripening at a low temperature of 14°C for 40 days; and collecting the liquor (filtering) by running water and precipitating to obtain the traditional liquor, which is clear, functional, and rich in scent of white lotus flower with alcoholicity of 16%, when the second rice-wine mash preparing step is finished.
