An anchor apparatus for use underground, the anchor apparatus comprising an anchor body 10 having a drive aperture 12, the body being movable between a drive position and a locked position, wherein the anchor body comprises a generally conical nose portion 14 and one or more deflecting ribs 11. The anchor apparatus may have an attachment fin 13, may have a drive collar (16, figure 3) which may be obliquely truncated, and there may be an oblique flange 15 at an end opposite the nose portion. |
