The present invention relates to a rainfall information system and a rainfall information server utilizing data of a rainfall sensor of a vehicle. The rainfall information system according to the present invention includes: a vehicle having a GPS module, which provides position and speed information, and rainfall sensor to sense rainfall information to control an operation of a wiper; and a rainfall information server to calculate a regression equation for converting the rainfall information, which is sensed from the rainfall sensor of the vehicle, to data in rainfall units by using rainfall data of a ground rainfall measurement device installed at a location near a position of the vehicle, and generate rainfall raster data based on the rainfall data calculated by using the regression equation. Therefore, a large-sized mobile ground rainfall sensor network is established by utilizing the rainfall sensor provided in a normal vehicle, and by generating rainfall data by utilizing a big data technology, the system can be economically operated and the accuracy of the rainfall data can be improved.
