<p>The present invention relates to a load cell composed of a pressing unit on which an external load is applied; a base installed to face the pressing unit while being separated at a predetermined distance from the pressing unit; and a pair of deformation sensing units symmetrically installed to face each other between the pressing unit and base. Each side of the top surfaces and undersides of the deformation sensing units is supported by being connected to the undersides of different diagonal edges of the pressing unit and base. The deformation sensing units are composed of a transformed body with a hollow unit and multiple detecting sensors installed on the hollow unit. Therefore, the load cell having parallel symmetric structure enables measurement regardless of the direction or position of an external load; can prevent damage to the detecting sensors; and additionally obtains structural stability capable of effectively detecting a large load.</p> |
