The present invention relates to a method for preparing a high absorbent resin. According to the present invention, the method for preparing a high absorbent resin comprises steps of: performing thermal polymerization or photopolymerization on a monomer composition comprising water soluble ethylene-based unsaturated monomers and a polymerization initiator so as to prepare a hydrogel polymer; drying the hydrogel polymer; grinding the dried hydrogel polymer; and performing surface bridging reaction by adding a surface cross-linking agent and aluminosilicate in a nano-tube form to the ground polymer. According to the present invention, when surface cross-linking, a high absorbent resin having an improved penetration ratio by adding aluminosilicate in a nano-tube form can be gained.
