POSITION ESTIMATION SYSTEM USING AN AUDIO-EMBEDDED TIME-SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNAL AND POSITION ESTIMATION METHOD USING THEREOF

Provided are a position estimation system using vailed time synchronization signal and a position estimation method using the same. The position estimation method comprises the following steps: producing time synchronization signals for measurement using genetic algorithm; replaying audio signals in which the time synchronization signals are embedded in a speaker by embedding the produced time synchronization signals to audio signals; receiving the audio signals in which the time synchronization signals are embedded in a mike; computing a time delay value of the time synchronization signals embedded in the received audio signals; and measuring the position of the mike based on the computed time delay value.
