<p>A method for controlling the dehydration of a drum type washing machine is provided to minimize vibration and noise by sensing diagonal loads not resolved by releasing of tangled clothing or eccentricity. A method for controlling the dehydration of a drum type washing machine includes the steps of accelerating the rpm of a drum for dehydration(S180), measuring the time required for the acceleration(S185) to detect diagonal loads, and determining a final dehydration rpm according to the measured time(S190,S195).</p> |
