<p>The present invention relates to an ice box with a liquid separation space. The ice box according to the present invention has a thermal insulation box (10) including: a cover (16) made from a thermal insulation material; and an enclosure (12) made from the thermal insulation material, having an upper opening opened or closed by the cover (16), having a drain hole (14) at the lower side thereof, and having an inner space in which stored objects (P) and a cooling material (I) are contained. The inner space of the enclosure (12) includes: a storage space (124) in which the stored objects (P) and the cooling material (I) are arranged; and the liquid separation space (122) in which a liquid (W) generated when the cooling material (I) is melted flows down and is collected, wherein the storage space (124) and the liquid separation space (122) are separated to be adjacent to each other up and down by a water-permeable structure (20, 30, 40, 60, 70, 80, or 90) arranged on a certain position in the inner space of the enclosure (12). The water-permeable structure (20, 30, 40, 60, 70, 80, or 90) as an interface between the storage space (124) and the liquid separation space (122) has a porous and water-permeable interface (22, 32, 42, 62, 72, 82, or 92) allowing only the liquid (W) to pass therethrough and preventing the stored objects (P) and the solid cooling material (I) in the storage space (124) from being moving to the liquid separation space (122) beneath the storage space (124). Therefore, the stored objects can be prevented from being mixed with the liquid generated in the ice box, and the ice box can be hygienic.</p> |
