The present invention relates to an apparatus for collecting dusts of an electric melting furnace for treating dusts generated when steel scrap generated in an industrial site is collected and melted for recycling. The apparatus for collecting dusts of an electric melting furnace which collects dusts generated in the electric furnace and discharges the dusts to the outside by installing a dust collecting hood, connected with a discharging duct, on an upper side of an electric furnace. A main body of the hood has an outlet of a passage discharging dusts and has a cylinder shape to be vertically opened so that the scrap transferred by a crane vertically and freely moves to be put into the electric furnace. An air injector installed on an inner circumferential wall of the main body of the hood sprays air to the inside of the hood and forms an air layer to collect harmful materials, such as metal fume, dust, etc., generated in the electric furnace and discharge the harmful materials to the outlet. Therefore, the apparatus for collecting dusts of an electric melting furnace can improve environment of a workplace and increase work efficiency, thereby increasing productivity. |
