摘要 A jig for an encoder of the present invention includes: a grab unit which is a component of the encoder and grabs an object of which a location is to be adjusted; and an adjustment unit which moves the garb unit and adjusts the location of the object by moving the grab unit. The object is supported by a support, which is a component of the encoder. The grab unit grabs the object in the direction in which the object is supported by the support. Therefore, the grab unit can reliably manage or reduce displacement caused when the grab unit grabs or releases the object.
