<p>Disclosed are a mobile communication system and a packet switching support node according to an embodiment of the present invention. The mobile communication system comprises: a first wireless network for supporting a first wireless access technique; a second wireless network for supporting a second wireless access technique; at least one first mobile switching center in the first wireless network for managing, by being connected to the first base station, the mobility of a mobile terminal which accesses a first base station; and a second mobile switching center in the second wireless network for requesting a handover of the mobile terminal by selecting a first mobile switching center which is matched to a first base station ID which is transferred from a control device among the at least one first mobile switching center by searching a matching table which matches the first base station ID to the first mobile switching center or transferring a message transmitted to the first base station if the handover of the mobile terminal from the first wireless network to the second wireless network is requested or the control device for the first wireless network receives the message which is transferred to the first station.
