The present invention discloses an apparatus and a method to provide user interface based on gesture recognition. According to the present invention, the apparatus to provide user interface based on gesture recognition includes: an input unit to receive gesture information from a user while executing a mobile game which is previously installed; a control unit which compares ends constituting the received gesture information with stored target information to determine the most similar target information as a comparison result, and to execute a preset function corresponding to the determined target information; and a display unit to display a screen executing a function determined according to the received gesture information. The received gesture information includes a plurality of peak points. |
