<p>The present invention relates to a power converter and a method for manufacturing the same. The power converter comprises a printed circuit board, a heat sink, a lower case, a front cover, a rear cover, and an upper case. The printed circuit board includes semiconductor elements mounted thereon along one edge. The heat sink is disposed at an outer side than the semiconductor elements in the upper portion of the printed circuit board and is fixed to the semiconductor elements. The lower case comprises a bottom portion; left and right sidewalls extended upward from left and right edges of the bottom portion; a first guide portion formed on inner surfaces of the left and right sidewalls so as to guide the printed circuit board to be inserted in a sliding manner; and a second guide portion formed on an inner surface of a wall facing the heat sink in the left and right sidewalls so as to guide the heat sink to be inserted in a sliding manner. The front cover is disposed to cover the front side of the lower case and is connected to the lower case. The rear cover is disposed to cover the rear side of the lower case and is connected to the lower case. The upper case is disposed to cover the upper portion of the lower case and is connected to the lower case, the front cover, and the rear cover.</p> |
