Viscoelastic surfactant as drift control agent in pesticide formulations

Disclosed herein is a pesticide composition having an improved drift control. The composition comprises a pesticide and a drift control agent wherein the drift control agent comprises a nitrogen containing viscoelastic surfactant. The viscoelastic surfactants (VES), when used in a pesticide formulation, are capable of producing a spray pattern between the patterns formed by spraying water and an aqueous pesticide solution containing guar gum as a way to reduce the drifting of the small drops to unintended targets while providing enhanced efficacy to the pesticide.
