A prefabricated composite insulation board

A prefabricated composite insulation board (1) is disclosed comprising a facing (2) of a flexible laminate facer sheet material and a plurality of vacuum insulation panels (VIP) (3). The VIP’s are adhesively bonded to the facer by an adhesive layer which forms part of the laminate. A body of insulating foam (4) overlies the vacuum insulating panels (3) and the facer (2). There are gaps (5) between adjacent vacuum insulation panels (3) and these gaps are filled with the foam (4).
