The present invention relates to a maintenance kit of a train interface unit (TIU) for a railway vehicle and a railway vehicle thereof and, more specifically, to a maintenance kit of a TIU which is installed in a control trailer of a railway vehicle to read unique IDs of tags arranged at predetermined distances on the tracks and to transmit the read unique IDs to a cab signal device, and the railway vehicle including the maintenance kit. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the maintenance kit of the TIU for the railway vehicle includes: an LED display unit which is connected to a user I/O connector of the TIU and comprises a plurality of LEDs; a gender which mechanically connects different standards of TIUs with the cab signal device; a control unit which receives data transmitted from the TIU to the cab signal device; and an LCD display unit which displays statuses of communications with tag IDs under the control of the control unit, wherein the TIU reads the unique IDs of the tags arranged at predetermined distances on the tracks through RF communications, transmits the read unique IDs to the cab signal device, and is installed to each of first and second control trailers of the railway vehicle to communicate with the tags in different frequency bands. |
