Provided is a chloroplast DNA marker for distinguishing species of Brassica plants based on chloroplast DNA which is genetically less mutative and stably matrapectic. As a result of species of analzing B. napus and B. napus L. using the chloroplast DNA marker, it is possible to easily distinguish the species of Brassica plants (B. napus, B. rapa L., R. sativus L.) and to distinguish the maternal species of B. rapa X B. napus. Therefore, it is possible to prevent seed contamination by easily distinguishing unintentionally mixed other species of Brassica seeds, and to easily discern female parents of Brassica cross seeds or plants, and thus, the chloroplast DNA marker of the present invention can be usefully utilized for management and research of gene transfer of GM crops related to environmental safety of the GM crops.
|
