The present invention relates to an automatic returning device for a sliding door. Operations by complex motors are done in order to automatically open and close a duplicate door with two doors. This configuration results in energy waste due to a connection to a power source, and is hard to be installed on conventional doors. Especially, when motors fail to operate, maintenance incurs many problems. The present invention provides an automatic returning device for a sliding door comprising: a guide body unit, on which a forward guiding groove, a backward guiding groove, and a stop groove are formed; a pin body unit where a guide pin, which can freely enter or leave through the forward guiding groove, the backward guiding groove, and the stop groove of the guide body unit, is installed; and a link unit where a coupling member for fixing and coupling the pin body unit of a direction change unit with the door and a belt coupling unit are formed. The automatic returning device according to the present invention can be installed on a pre-installed duplicate door, absorb shocks and noises due to a rapid open/close operation of the door, and automatically open and close the door. Especially, further to the automatic noise and shock absorption functions, the automatic returning device can be operated by the energy obtained when the door is opened or closed, without electrical power supplied from outside, such that the automatic returning device is free from operation failures and deformations. |
