<p>The method involves making a carbon dioxide-containing gas mixture to be in contact with a carbon dioxide-absorbing liquid in a stage that gives a prepurified gas mixture, where the stage is performed at pressure of 0.8-1.4 bar. The prepurified gas mixture is made to be in contact with a carbon dioxide adsorber or a molecular sieve in another stage that separates carbon dioxide from the gas mixture and exhibits a membrane separation process, where the latter stage is performed at a pressure of 1.5-6.5 bar. The gas mixture is passed through a tank with the liquid to form gas bubbles. An independent claim is also included for a device for removing carbon dioxide from a carbon dioxide-containing gas mixture.</p> |
