Disclosed is a visual identification article (10) adapted to be secured to a garment or article of clothing. The visual identification article (10) provides a simple identification means to allow a person to readily differentiate between garments. The visual identification article (10) comprises a web. The web is secured to the garment. The web includes a first portion (12) securable along one side to the garment. A plurality of second portions (16, 18, 20) are each visually distinguishable from the other second portions (16, 18, 20). Each second portion (16, 18, 20) is connected to the first portion (12) and the adjacent others of the plurality of second portions (16, 18, 20) by a line of weakness (24, 26, 28) or at lines of demarcation (24, 26, 28). The second portions (16, 18, 20) are detachable from the first portion (12) by either cutting or pulling along the line of demarcation (16, 18, 20). |
