An insect trap for mating disruption or monitoring purposes, comprises an at least substantially hollow body for containing an insect-attractant, the body defined by a plurality of contiguous walls 11, 11a, 11b having interior and exterior surfaces, the interior surface of two or more of the plurality of contiguous walls 11, 11a, 11b at least partially covered with adhesive, the exterior surfaces defining substantially flat faces, and adjacent ones of the plurality of contiguous walls 11, 11a, 11b meeting to define edges, and at least one opening 12 defined in each of a majority of the contiguous walls 11, 11a, 11b, at least one of the openings 12 being dimensioned to permit the ingress of insects into the interior of the body. |
