The system has a rail (8) mounted on a mast (9). A locking device includes a female locking body (4) for locking the mast, and a movable male locking body (3) for locking a carriage i.e. mainsail head (1). An actuating unit includes an insert (5) and a transverse lever (6) mounted on the mast to operate the mast from the bottom of the mast. The insert and the transverse lever cooperate with a longitudinal lever (7) movably mounted on the mainsail head and associated with the male body, for operating the male locking body between a locking position and a retracted position. |
