The method involves positioning a piece on a support inclined with respect to a direction of application of a vibratory force combining static and vibratory damage (100), where the vibratory force within a frequency range is higher than a reference frequency. The vibratory force is applied (110) to the piece. Modes of the piece are measured (120). The exact time of occurrence of a crack in the modes of the piece is determined (130). The risk of rupture of a part formed by the piece in use is predicted (140) from the time of occurrence of a predetermined crack. An independent claim is also included for a device for validating vibratory and static fatigue behavior of a piece of a fine sheet. |
