<p>A power factor correction circuit is disclosed. The power factor correction circuit controlling a convertor by the control of a switch in a discontinuous conduction mode (DCM), includes a duty ratio conversion part. By this composition, the power factor of the DCM mode can be improved while maintaining the advantage of the DCM mode. Therefore, a more improved power factor correction circuit can be provided.
