<p>PURPOSE: A case for a secondary battery is provided to maintain high strength and to emit heat generated in a battery cell, to have light weight, and to embody various designs, thereby weight lightening a secondary battery of high capacity. CONSTITUTION: A case for a secondary battery comprises: a case structure manufactured to a specific shape by using engineering plastic, of which the surface is swelling-treated; and an electroplating layer coated by thermal conductive material on the surface of the case structure. A manufacturing method of the case comprises: a step of manufacturing the case structure by using the engineering plastic; a step of swelling-treating the surface of the case, and forming a first coating layer on the swelling-treated surface; and a step of forming a second coating layer on the surface of the first coating surface.</p> |
