PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell culture carrier capable of aggregating mesenchymal stem cells in a uniform shape, and obtaining, with a high probability, cell aggregates that are in a state of uniformly differentiated.SOLUTION: A cell culture carrier is provided, the carrier having following features: being formed in a vessel shape; a plurality of wells being formed on the bottom part and on the wall part of the vessel; the vessel made from ceramic porous body having pores with average diameter of 0.1 μm or more to 0.6 μm or less and with a porous rate of 40% or more to 55% or less; the inner peripheral surface of the side wall being formed so as to open as going upward with an angle of 100° or more to 135° or less against the upper surface of the bottom wall part; at least one well out of the plurality of wells being formed at a position contacting the border line between the bottom wall part and the side wall part, or being formed over the border line; the horizontal size of the side wall part having a length twice or more longer than the size with which the well enters into the side wall part; and the distance size between the neighboring wells being 10 μm or more to 50 μm or less, the distance size being measured from an outer peripheral of the opening part of one well to a neighboring another well's outer peripheral of the opening part, on the center line connecting the centers of the wells. |
