PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety of an aerial system.SOLUTION: A turntable ladder system comprises: a turntable ladder 20 mounted on the top of a rescue vehicle 10; an arm 24 that can be bent downwardly to the ground 28 in front of the driver's cabin 12 of the vehicle 10; and operator stands 32, 40 located at the ladder 20 for operating the ladder 20, the operator stands 32, 40 comprising control means 34, 42 for controlling a movement of the arm 24. The turntable ladder system is characterized by manually operable confirmation means 36 located at the front of or laterally at the driver's cabin 12, the confirmation means 36 being operatively connected to the control means 34, 42 such that the bending movement of the arm 24 can be controlled by the control means 34, 42 only when the confirmation means 36 is operated. |
