PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed apparatus capable of smoothly tilting an upper frame, while preventing backlash in the left/right and front/back directions when tilting the upper frame of the bed apparatus with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The bed apparatus includes: lifting/lowering mechanisms in the lower part of the upper frame at a head side and a foot side respectively, where the head-side and foot-side lifting/lowering mechanisms are connected to each other, and a first lifting/lowering mechanism of the head-side and foot-side lifting/lowering mechanisms is connected to the upper frame by hinges; a transmission member that transmits the lifting/lowering motion of a second lifting/lowering mechanism of the head-side and foot-side lifting/lowering mechanisms; and a guide mechanism that, when lifting/lowering, regulates left/right motion of the upper frame with respect to the lifting/lowering mechanisms and guides the front/back motion in a prescribed manner. |
