PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system highly efficiently and uniformly preparing a latex emulsion by improving a mixing method and system and facilitating mixing.SOLUTION: The invention provides a method and system which uses magnetic particles and magnetic fields to facilitate mixing for preparing a latex emulsion. In embodiments, a suitable process includes dissolving a resin in an organic solvent, optionally adding a surfactant, adding a neutralization agent and water, adding magnetic particles, and subjecting the mixture to mixing by applying magnetic fields to form a latex emulsion, thereby producing substantially uniform latex particles. In embodiments, the latex emulsion thus produced may be utilized to form a toner. |
