The present embodiment provides a fault-tolerant switching amplifier comprising: an inverter unit comprising N inverters wherein each inverter comprises a plurality of switching elements, switches a permitted direct current voltage by on/off controlling a plurality of switching elements according to a PWM signal input into the plurality of switching elements, and generates an output signal based on the switching; and an intermittent current unit comprising N switches which are respectively connected in parallel to the output terminals of the N inverters and which are short-circuited or opened according to whether the N inverters are operating normally, and wherein the output terminals of the N inverters are connected in series to each other and generate an amplified signal which is merged with the output signals from each inverter. |
