PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eye-open state determination device capable of suppressing the erroneous determination of an eye-open state.SOLUTION: An eye-open state determination device includes: image acquisition means 110 for acquiring the image of the eyes of a subject; eyelid opening detection means 133 for detecting the opening of the eyelids from the state of the eyelids in the image of the eyes; red-eye generation means 122 for making light incident from the pupils of the subject, and for reflecting the light reflected on the retinas to the image of the eyes as a red-eye image; red-eye detection means 134 for detecting the presence/absence of the generation of the red-eye image; operation control means 131 for allowing the red-eye generation means 122 to operate in a timing different from a timing in which the image of the eyes is acquired by the image acquisition means 110; and determination means 135 for determining the open-eye state of the subject from the opening of the eyelids acquired by the eyelid opening detection means 133 and the presence/absence of the generation of the red-eye image acquired by the red-eye detection means 134. |
