PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advantageous arrangement of a well contact region in a solid-state imaging apparatus comprising a focus detection function.SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging apparatus comprises: a plurality of imaging pixels for capturing a subject image; a first focus detection pixel for detecting light having passed through a first region in a pupil of an imaging lens; and a second focus detection pixel for detecting light having passed through a second region different from the first region in the pupil. The solid-state imaging apparatus further comprises a first well contact region of the first focus detection pixel and a second well contact region of the second focus detection pixel. A relative position of the first well contact region in the first focus detection pixel with respect to an element included in the first focus detection pixel and a relative position of the second well contact region in the second focus detection pixel with respect to an element corresponding to the element are different from each other. |
